NEW FEATURES & ENHANCEMENTS

New! KidReports Attendance Sync (Cloud Customers with KidReports)

  • Child check-in/out times recorded in Procare (through a check-in station or the Receptionist feature) now sync automatically to KidReports. This is the first phase as we continue to enhance integration with KidReports. Learn more about Attendance Sync. [ref: 14215 and 14529] Procare Check-In Screen

New! – Roll Call Sheet (All Customers)

  • This is the perfect roll call sheet for full-day programs that use child schedules and prefer not to have an AM/PM breakdown. If a child is not scheduled on a particular day, a line is shown through that day. You also have the option to include each child’s DOB. Go to Reports > Standard Reports > Family Data > Rollcall Sheets > Weekly: M-F, Schedule. [ref: 13828]

New! – Billing Box Report

  • Easily identify which locations have enrolled children that do not yet have their billing boxes set up, in other words, their families will not be charged when billing is run. See totals per location and drill down to get details for children at a specific location. This report was previously available for individual schools (and still is), but has now been added to the Corporate section of reports. From the Procare Home screen, go to Corporate Reports > Standard Reports > Family Accounting > Billing Box > Children without Contract Billing. Note: For individual schools you’ll find it under Reports > Standard Reports > Family Accounting > Billing Box > Children without Contract Billing. [ref: 14049]

New! – Attendance Count Report

  • Get a count of the number of children attending on any given day across all your locations. This is a “distinct count” meaning each child is counted once regardless of the number of times they checked in or out during the day. This report was previously available for individual schools (and still is), but has now been added to the Corporate section of reports. From the Procare Home screen, go to Corporate Reports > Standard Reports > Attendance Tracker > School Attendance > Distinct Daily Attendance. Note: For individual schools you’ll find it under Reports > Standard Reports > Attendance Tracker > School Attendance > Distinct Daily Attendance. [ref: 14622]

New! Royalties Reports (All Customers)

Other Enhancements

  • Payroll – Changed certain payroll reports to determine earnings based on the Print Date (date of issue) of each check, rather than the Post Date (date of entry). This is intended to more accurately reflect the point at which a person receives earnings—for example, on the Employee Earnings Summary and Employee Earning / Withholding Summary reports.
  • Corporate Data Viewer – For centers with more than one location, added Work Area to the Employee Time Card w/Pay Rate view so the place the person works (the Work Area typically is the classroom) can be shown on the report and it can be sorted, grouped and filtered by Work Area. From the Procare Home screen, go to Corporate Reports > Data Viewer > Employee Data > Employee Time Card w/Pay Rate. [ref: 13827]

FIXED & RESOLVED ISSUES

Family Data

  • Child and Account Log Notes: Very long log notes were cut off at 2,000 characters. This could sometimes be an issue with long questionnaires submitted through MyProcare during new family registration or re-registration. The limit has been increased to 8,000. [ref: 14428]

Employee Data

  • Immunizations – Fixed an issue where the shot icon on the toolbar in Employee Data was always shown in green, even when that person had immunizations due. Now the shot icon properly shows in red and a second red shot alert appears on the right-hand side. [ref: 14078] Immunization is Due

Reports & Data Viewer

  • The Schedule Summary: Daily Graph Analysis (staff/child) report had an issue where some scheduled employees were not being included. This report is located under Standard Reports > Family Data > Classroom Schedule. [ref: 14082]
  • When using Data Viewer to run the Child All Enrollment Status, you would get the following error if any of your Child Relationship descriptions were more than 25 characters long: “SQL Server Connectivity Issue – String or binary data would be truncated. The statement has been terminated.” [ref: 14186]
  • Child Time Card View: The Corporate Data View for child time cards had an issue where it only included check-in/out times entered by an authorized pickup and not those done manually or by staff. This has been corrected so all in/out times now appear. [ref: 14868]

Miscellaneous

  • Data Export – Fixed an issue when using the Export Utility that could cause the process to time out unexpectedly. [ref: 14318]
