Data Hosting - Quick Overview

Data hosting is a service that lets you access information for your child-centered business from any Procare computer with a high speed internet connection* (home, office, laptop, etc.). The data is stored on Procare's secure servers and made available online - only to you.

*Note: Use of 3G aircards or satellite connections is not supported.

Computer Requirements

Any computer with a high speed internet connection that meets the System Requirements for Procare v10.

Data Hosting Installation

Once you've signed up for Procare Data Hosting, you'll be sent a link to download the installation package on each computer that will use Procare. The installation includes two items that are automatically installed at the same time.

1. Procare v10 Client Software: Used to run Procare itself.
2.  SonicWall VPN Client Software: Specially configured  to connect to the Procare servers. 

   Note: If you previously installed v10 from CD you'll follow special instructions to export your data and uninstall the CD version BEFORE installing the data hosting software.
