Data Hosting - Quick Overview

Data hosting is a service that lets you access information for your child-centered business from any Procare computer with a high speed internet connection* (home, office, laptop, etc.). The data is stored on Procare's secure servers and made available online - only to you.

*Note: Use of AirCards (3G, 4G, etc.) or satellite connections is not supported.

Internet & Computer Requirements

Important! Make sure your internet connection meets the Data Hosting Requirements and your computer meets the overall System Requirements for Procare.

Data Hosting Installation

Once you've signed up for Procare Data Hosting, you'll be sent a link to download the installation package on each computer that will use Procare. The installation includes two items that are automatically installed at the same time.

Procare v10 Client Software: Used to run Procare itself.
Cisco VPN Client Software: Specially configured to connect to the Procare servers.
Notes:
1. Data Hosting is NOT COMPATIBLE with Terminal Services or any version of Microsoft Windows Server.
2. If you previously installed v10 from CD you'll be sent special instructions to export your data and uninstall the CD version BEFORE installing the data hosting software.
