If you are using the Procare Door Controller or Keyless Entry System with the USB Gear SERIAL to USB adapter you’ll need to download and install the latest drivers from the USB Gear site BEFORE using the device with Procare.
USB to Serial Adapter
Before connecting the USB Gear SERIAL to USB adapter to your computer you’ll need to download and install the latest drivers from the USB Gear web site. Choose the appropriate driver for your operating system.
Note
This article applies to use of the USB RS-232 Serial Adapter DB-9, Part Number USBG-232MINI. This is a third party product which is not part of Procare itself, but may be shipped with certain serial devices such as the Procare Door Controller and Keyless Entry System.
