Certain Meal Tracker reports, such as the Meals Served / Claimed Summary, include a figure for the “Daily Total of Participants Who Ate Meals”. This is the number of children who were served at least one meal per day during the dates specified for the report.
Let’s say you ran the Meals Served / Claimed Summary for the 1st to the 31st of the month. We’ll assume a child named Billy came 20 days during the month. On 19 of those days he was served at least one meal (either a snack, or main meal, or both). It would not matter if he were served just one meal or many meals (in a single day); he would be counted just once for that day. Since he was served at least one meal on 19 different days, Billy would be included 19 times in the “Daily Total of Participants Who Ate Meals”.
