Windows XP Deadline Approaches

Article Summary

As of June 2016, Microsoft and credit card companies no longer accept Windows XP’s outdated security protocols. This means Windows XP computers (including old Procare Touch computers) will no longer be able to securely communicate with Procare Software or Tuition Express.

Windows XP Will NOT Let You:

  1. Register Procare through the internet. This happens automatically now, but it will become necessary for you to call every 90 days to register your software.
  2. Log into the Procare Online Store to make purchases (annual updates, tax tables, W2 software) or update your credit card information.
  3. Accept/process payments or use Tuition Express in any way.
  4. Use TuitionExpress.com at all (this includes any parents on old XP computers too!).

Please Take Action

We strongly encourage you to replace all Windows XP machines with computers running Windows 10, 8, or 7. This must be done BEFORE June 2016.

If you have an old Procare Touch computer (shipped prior to April 17, 2012), contact us to review your upgrade options.

Thank you for being proactive in replacing your XP computers.
