Ratio-based Schools & Family Scheduling

By turning on Family Selected Scheduling in MyProcare, Procare Cloud customers may choose to allow current families (those who are already in Procare) to set and change schedules for their children.

Parent Created Schedules Affect Ratios

Schedules set by parents immediately change the Child Schedules in Procare. Although you may choose to receive an email alert when schedules are changed, there is no moderation of the changes. This will affect your scheduled child-to-teacher ratios and reports. If you are a ratio-based school, this may or may not be appropriate for your situation. Since parents control the schedules of children, it could be challenging for a ratio-based program to manage staffing levels.
