Benefit Type | Description |
---|---|
Accrued | The total benefits that are available to the employee. For example, total vacation hours available. |
Earned | Benefits that are applied to an employee's accrued benefits that are earned based on employment conditions. For example, an employee earns 4 hours of vacation per pay period. These earned benefits are then added to the total accrued benefits. |
