Encryption Error When Running Tuition Express
Advanced Encryption Error
This error may occur when attempted to process payments through Tuition Express: “An error occurred initializing advanced encryption session keys”.
Cause
An older version of Procare (below 10.3) that doesn’t support the latest security requirements of the Payment Card Industry (PCI). Your computers must be compatible with (and have updates installed for) Procare 10.3, in order to use Tuition Express.
Solution
You must check the compatibility of your computers and update to Procare 10.3. For step-by-step instructions, see: Tuition Express: Critical Security Update!
What does Point of Sale Payments are not properly set up mean?
You may get this message for one of these reasons:
You do not have Tuition Express , but have selected the Allow Payments option in the Check-in Options screen. In this case, simply uncheck the option.
You have Tuition Express, and Allow Payments is selected, but it is not fully set up. Confirm your School Options for Tuition Express include: your Tuition Express Account Number, a Credit Card POS Payment Description, and a Minimum Transaction Amount. The quickest way to get set up is to run the Tuition Express First Time Set Up.
