The text of the error message is: Email Delivery Issue Email has failed. If problem continues, please check your school’s email configuration settings or contact your network administrator. Verify all the SMTP server settings and connectivity.
Most frequent reason for the message:
Something in the SMTP settings that you selected in the Email Options is incorrect. Check the following items:
- Server name/address
- Port settings
- User Name
- Password
- SSL Security
If all of the above are correct, check the following:
For Yahoo accounts, the School Email Address must match the Username Email Address.
Some Yahoo accounts require a Yahoo generated third party password to be entered in Email Options.
For Gmail accounts, their Less Secure Apps Settings may need to be changed.
