Remote Desktop with Fingerprint Reader

Article Summary

How to set up ports to be redirected from a remotely controlled computer to a local computer. This may be useful when the remote computer (host) runs the Procare Check In software and the USB biometric fingerprint reader is attached to the local (client) computer.

Overview

You can use Windows Remote Desktop to connect to another computer that is running the Procare Check In program while having the fingerprint reader attached to the local computer. This means you are taking over the remote (host) computer such that no one else may use it while you are connected. The Fingerprint Drivers must be installed.
