Release date: May 30, 2012

  • New – Employment Status Reports (similar to Child Enrollment Reports) AND Work History Reports with length of employment. These were much requested features. Thank you for your input! Go to Reports > Standard Reports > Employee Data > Employment Status.
  • New – Quick Access to Vendor Payments: Dbl-click a vendor check on the Recent Payments section of the main Expenses & Ledger screen to view the check details and choose to Void, Edit or Reprint, if needed.
  • New – Minute Menu: Changes made to Procare to allow for the free Minute Menu “Extra” Download. Use it to reconcile child and guardian ID numbers from Minute Menu CX to Procare and to transfer new enrollees from Procare to Minute Menu.
  • Enhanced – Check-In Speed: Under the hood performance enhancements were added to speed up the response of each screen during the check-in sequence. This will be most noticeable for people using a Data Hosted version of Procare.
  • Enhanced – Check-In Messages: Message History screen now allows multiple messages to be selected using Shift+Click or Ctrl+Click, so more than one message can be deleted at a time.
  • Enhanced – Online Wait List: When Importing Child/Parent Data a pre-search has been added to see if that person may already be in the system. Also, the process to merge/update people has been simplified.
  • Enhanced – Pay at Check-In Screen: Changed to use a colon instead of a dash next to the account balance. The dash made it appear as though parents had a negative (credit) balance.
  • Enhanced – Tooltip for reports now indicates whether they are Account or Child Specific Reports. Previously it just said “Information Sheets”.
  • Enhanced – Data Import logic updated to:
    • Not import duplicate Procare Users when title, identifier and username match.
    • Only show Agency Mapping when necessary.
  • Fixed – Child Time Card Rounding: Logic fixed to NOT round outside the Hours of Operation set within Region/School Options. This allows Billing Formulas to charge a different rate (such as $1 per minute) after the center is closed or before it opens.
  • Fixed – Review Schedule Screen: Fixed issue where a Schedule Exception (override or absence) could be shown multiple times.
  • Fixed – Child Immunizations: Updated to allow more than 7 dates to be entered; previously the date selection box would fail to show/initialize.
  • Fixed – Child Schedules: Issue where you could not delete a schedule from a child if it was a Schedule Template.
  • Fixed – Employee schedule report updated to display times in correct chronological order.
  • Fixed – Check-In Screen: “Entry Denied” message now shown if someone attempts to check in or transfer to a Work Area/Classroom that is no longer marked as “Active” on the Work Area Configuration screen. Previously an “Object reference not set” error occurred.
  • Fixed – Vendor Check Summary: This report no longer includes the School Code abbreviation (like S1, S2, etc.). It was misleading as people thought it indicated the location from which a check had been recorded. It actually showed the location in which the vendor was originally created, which was not especially useful information.
  • Fixed – Exiting the Licensing Configuration screen no longer displays an error if you are not licensed for the Family Data/Family Accounting modules.
  • Fixed – Intermittent object reference not set exception thrown on Procare User configuration screen.
  • Fixed – Online Wait List no longer encounters a timeout when enrolling more than one new student at a time.
  • Fixed – Licensing Server: If a Procare User was locked out for too many invalid login attempts, then was unlocked/reset and again tried to log on incorrectly, they would be immediately locked out as if they had tried multiple times. This fix requires installation of a Server Patch.
