Check-In Issues


Article Summary

Review the Check-In Issues screen for persons who are unable to check in or out. One possible reason would be if their check out time would cause them to exceed the maximum hours allowed per day. This could happen if they forgot to check out one day, then tried to complete check out the following day.

Getting There

  • For children: From the main screen of Family Data & Accounting click Functions > Attendance Tracker > Check In Issues.

  • For staff: From the main screen of Employee Data & Payroll click Functions > Check In Issues.

Review Check-In Issues

  1. Review the list of Check-In Issues. Persons with a conflict related to their time card will be displayed with a brief explanation of the issues such as “Time would exceed daily maximum”.

  1. To resolve the issue, so the person may clock in/out again, go to the Child Time Card or Employee Time Card and make any necessary adjustment, such as manually entering an appropriate time out.

  1. Optional: Once issues have been resolved, you may return to the Check-In Issues screen and remove them from the list. Select the item and then click Delete (bottom left).

Note: Issues will remain on the list until you choose to delete them. Fixing the person’s time card does not automatically remove them from the list.
